On 27 November 2019, Aminatou Haidar, winner of the Right Livelihood Award Lecture 2019, will held her award lecture at the Unviersity of Zurich. Aminatou Haidar is a Sahrawi human rights activist and advocate of the independence of Western Sahara. The Sahrawi are the indigenous people of Western Sahara.
The 12th Right Livelihood Award Lecture will be held at 6:30-7:45 pm in the the assembly hall of the University of Zurich (Rämistrasse 71, 8006). Because of limited seating, an application is required: zurich.rightlivelihoodaward.org.
The languages of the event are German and French.
